Due to the increased coyote activity in the neighborhood, sometimes inside our fenced yards, the Board of Directors for MUD #5 has authorized Texas Wildlife Services to set traps and capture some of them.
They are going to set them up on MUD #5 property in the Preserve outside of the neighborhood. The locations selected do not have any walking trails, so as long as dogs are kept on a leash or in the yard, you and your pets shouldn’t have any issues.
They will start laying traps around May 1st and continue up to three weeks. No devices will be set over the weekend, and they will be checked twice a day.
I have attached a brochure that has more information about the urban coyote that you may find useful.
